AIQ™ Inferred Ratings

Mapping observed public disclosure against the full 250-point AIQ™ corpus. In development — not yet issued.

In development. No Inferred rating has been issued.

Inferred ratings require sufficient training material to establish reliable relationships between what a company discloses publicly and what the rest of the corpus would show. That corpus is being assembled. Until it supports a defensible inference, no Inferred rating will be published — and nothing on this page should be read as one.

From 68 public disclosures to the full corpus.

An Observed rating speaks only to the 68 items an anchor framework calls on a company to disclose publicly. The remaining data points in the 250-point corpus — internal audit results, impact assessments, model operations telemetry — cannot be seen from outside at all. An Inferred rating is intended to estimate them from observed disclosure, once there is enough evidence to do so honestly.

Uncertainty will be reported as uncertainty.

Where an Inferred rating cannot reach a data point with adequate confidence, that will be reported as a coverage gap — an acknowledged limit of the estimate — and not as evidence of weak governance. Distinguishing a gap in our reach from a finding about a company is the condition on which an estimate of unobservable practice can be published at all.

What an Inferred rating will not do.

Recorded now, so the constraints are on the record before the first rating is issued rather than after.

No inference without traceable premises

An Observed finding cites the clause that calls for it and the source where it was found. An inference cannot cite a source that does not exist, so the published premises will be the model, its inputs, and its measured reliability — stated before any rating is issued.

Reported separately from Observed

An Inferred rating will never be blended into an Observed rating or presented on the same scale. The two answer different questions from different evidence, and a reader must be able to see which one they are looking at.

Not an AIQ™ Score

As with Observed ratings, an Inferred rating is not an AIQ™ Score and not an AIQA Certification. Certification requires a direct engagement.

AIQ™ Observed Ratings and AIQ™ Scores are statements of opinion as of the date expressed, not statements of current or historical fact.

For informational purposes only. Not investment, legal, tax, or compliance advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, or to do (or refrain from doing) business with any entity.

Every credited finding in an Observed Rating cites the framework clause that calls for the disclosure and the public source where it was found. The rating scale, the tiering, the dimension weights, and the behaviour of that weighting are published with the methodology.

Provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. An Observed Rating is built from public information without the subject company’s participation and reflects only what that company has published. Where a called-for disclosure is absent, the rating records that it was not found — not that the underlying governance control is absent. Ratings do not constitute regulatory compliance, certification, or legal assurance. A named company may request review of the underlying public data.
